Sulick Wins Second Place in Young Artist Competition

Kelly Sulick was recently selected to participate in the 2010 National Flute Association's Young Artist Competition. Each year, a panel of judges selects up to 25 participants from a recorded preliminary round to compete in a live competition. This year's competition was held in Anaheim, California from August 11-15. Ms. Sulick was one of 21 flutists selected to compete in the live preliminary round. After three live performances of nine compositions, Ms. Sulick won second place and received an award for the best performance of a work commissioned for the competition.
