Online lessons are an excellent way for students to develop their technique and musicality without the inconvenience of traveling for lessons. Whether you're interested in a lesson to see if UVA is right for you, would like a fresh perspective before a big performance, or would simply like weekly flute lessons, online private instruction is a convenient resource.
I am pleased to now offer online lessons to students in any location!

- A working computer with a web cam, or another device with video capability
- A video chat program. (I currently use Skype, iChat, and FaceTime, and can teach lessons on any of these services.)
- A reliable broadband internet connection
- An external microphone that hooks up to your computer, while not necessary, can drastically improve the sound quality of these lessons.

Prior to our first lesson, we will schedule an initial 'test lesson' at no charge to make sure that our computers, microphones, etc. are all in working order and transmitting properly.
